Honesty and hard work are commendable traits of character, but they will never make a success of the person who does not guide them toward a definite major purpose. — Napoleon Hill Foundation

Character is an important element of success and a critical attribute of leadership, but character alone cannot ensure success unless it is channeled in a positive direction (Naphill.org)

When good, decent people — persons of character — connect with a major purpose for their lives toward which they willingly and enthusiastically direct their energies, the results can be awe-inspiring. …

An opinion piece on Ep. 5: Larry Long Jr. | Create a Legacy by Giving More Than You Take — A podcast by Galem Girmay

The closest thing to the silver bullet is helping someone else out” — Larry Long Jr.

Larry Long Jr is a master of the sales process — he’s energetic, he’s prepared, he knows how he can help his clients, and works hard at being the best. And now, he’s giving back — in educating others on how to become better sales professionals, and to his community.

Legacy has an intimate intention to leave behind wholesome memories of what you intend for another person. In the end, the goal can only be accomplished…

“ TENZI is the world’s fastest dice game! Fast, fun, engaging, and surprisingly intricate, TENZI is perfect for table top beginners and aficionados alike.”

I played Tenzi for ninety-eight minutes straight and lost for every minute I played. For Christmas, my in-laws visited us, and my wife’s sister, Bailey, introduced a family-friendly game for us to play.

For the next 1 hour and 38 minutes, I would lose every single hand that I played. It was a good experience, but it was God awful to lose, every hand, every time.

Games are fun. Games are psychedelic to increase your brain activity. It allows you to strategically make your gamelan to execute a win. However, losses are evident and will occur on a regular basis, as you attempt to navigate HOW to play the game.

The key is playing the game.

Deep within the sands of time lies the echoing clatter of those individuals who have walked before us. Men and women who dared to change the world. Those who had a dream, a passion, a drive for excellence to see the humanity in a better place.

We have often traveled near and far, searching for existence to meet us peacefully within our home. A sip of tea, the crack of an egg, the gentle whispers of the grass from the morning wind. Oh, how it feels to wake up!

To wake up to the benevolence of a new day.

A new hope.

A new life.

A resting place.

The conversation that I listened to wasn’t intentional, rather it was personal.

Amy — Your reflection brought out of you what was already there. You simply told your story [ past, present, and the future].

I saw you.

The workaholic thing is real for you and always has been. …

Several things can happen within a person’s lifetime. Getting your first kiss, learning to drive for the first time, getting married, and even getting divorced.

Matt Cameron says, “Live life to the fullest and focus on the positive.”

If you’re reading this, you have used a few moments in real time, to self reflect on what is working well in your life or maybe what is not working at all. Either way, you’re thinking about it. The challenge is finding that even balance, chasing your dreams, and not letting anything stop you from reaching the top.

The question is… once you reach the top, what’s next?

It’s sad to think that at one point in your life you failed at something. It could have been your favorite team losing 0r the day you and your first girlfriend/boyfriend broke up. Sad to think you lost at something. Guess what? Life ain’t waiting for you.

Are you trying to make a living? Want to create a better life for yourself? Then, get off your behind and make it happen. First post — -and post.
